What is Skribr?

Skribr Skribr is an AI chat application that operates entirely on-device, allowing users on iPhone, iPad, and Mac to access natural language processing without an internet connection. It offers a selection of three on-device models—Small, Medium, and Large—to match device memory and performance, enabling fast, accurate responses on both entry‑level and high‑spec hardware.

All user messages and data remain on the device, ensuring local processing and protecting privacy from external servers or training data leaks. The interface supports general AI conversation as well as specialized tools for coding, writing, and other creative tasks, making it useful for developers, writers, and students.

A streamlined setup wizard guides users through downloading the appropriate model and configuring the app, typically completing installation within minutes. Skribr’s offline architecture eliminates bandwidth usage, making it suitable for remote, low‑connectivity, or data‑constrained environments.
