What is ShotSolve?

ShotSolve ShotSolve is a native macOS app that captures a screenshot and uses GPT‑4o to answer user questions instantly. It supports macOS 12+ on Intel or Apple Silicon, and runs quickly on M1/M2 processors. The interface includes a clean chat window, light/dark themes, custom fonts, and code‑block styling.

Users can manage chat context, edit or delete messages, and regenerate answers with keyboard shortcuts. Advanced configuration allows custom OpenAI API hosts, system instructions, temperature, presence penalty, and frequency penalty settings. The app stores API keys securely in Apple Keychain and does not retain or analyze user prompts.
