What is Lid?
Lid is a voice‑note journaling app that records spoken thoughts and uses artificial intelligence to generate written summaries and personalized audio soundbites. The AI identifies key themes from daily entries, producing a concise text summary and a motivational audio clip that can be played over a relaxing soundscape.
Users can review past entries in a calendar view, allowing them to track mood, habits, and emotional trends over time. Lid protects privacy through password protection and Face ID authentication, ensuring that voice recordings are not stored on the device.
The platform is available on iOS, allowing seamless synchronization across Apple devices with the same Apple ID. The tool is suited for individuals seeking quick, on‑the‑go journaling, mental‑health support, habit formation, and mindful reflection without the need for manual typing.
