The Workflow

7 steps · click a step number to mark it done

Open Notion AI and have it ready before you start

Duplicate the starter template to your workspace so you can edit it without affecting the original

Open the Projects database, click the plus icon to add a property, select Relation, and link it to the Tasks database; enable two‑way sync and name it "Related Tasks"

In the same Projects database, add another Relation property, link it to the Notes database, enable two‑way sync, and name it "Related Notes"

Edit the Project page template, type /table, choose Table view, select "Link to existing data source", pick the Tasks database, and keep the current view

In the linked Tasks view, add a filter where the "Related Projects" relation contains the current page, then hide the database title for a clean look

Repeat the previous two steps for the Notes database, creating a linked view filtered by the "Related Projects" relation

Save the template; now each time you create a new project, Notion automatically generates filtered task and note sections that show only items linked to that project
