Open Klap and have it ready before you start

Open the Klap homepage and locate the input bar that says “Paste link or drop a file”.

Paste the YouTube video URL or upload your long‑form video file into the bar.

Select your preferred caption style (classic or advanced) and toggle emojis or custom overlays as needed.

Choose the desired reel length or let Klap automatically determine optimal clip durations.
klap
Click “Generate Shorts” and wait a few moments while the AI extracts and formats vertical clips.

Review the generated clips in the project list; click play on each to preview quality and relevance.

If needed, click “Edit” on a clip to modify caption text, colors, or add overlay text for branding.

Click the “Download” button on each clip (or use batch download) to save the vertical videos to your device.

Optional: Connect your social accounts and click “Share” to schedule or publish the reels directly.
