Input
I want a weekly planner with a monthly overview, a custom cover image, and it should sync between my iPad and Mac.
Output
A GoodNotes notebook named 'My Planner' with a custom Canva‑designed cover, a monthly overview page, weekly pages, hyperlinked tabs for easy navigation, and automatic iCloud sync across devices.

The Workflow

9 steps · click a step number to mark it done

Open Goodnotes and have it ready before you start

Open GoodNotes, sign in with Apple ID or Google, and toggle on iCloud sync to enable cross‑device access

Tap the blue New button, choose Notebook, set a custom size (e.g., A4 landscape) and select a paper template for your planner

Tap the cover area, select Add Image, and import a custom cover you created in Canva

Create a monthly overview page: duplicate a blank page, apply a grid template, and label it 'Month Overview'

Create weekly pages: duplicate a page, switch the template to lines, and rename each page for the corresponding week

Add navigation tabs: insert a shape or text box, then use the Link tool to point each tab to its target page

Import your favorite stickers: open the Elements tool, tap the plus icon, and add images from your photo library

Activate Read‑Only mode while using the planner so hyperlinks stay clickable without drawing over them

Export the completed planner as a PDF for sharing, or simply rely on iCloud sync to access it on iPad, iPhone, and Mac
