What is Tantl?
Bytebot is an open‑source AI desktop agent that runs in isolated Docker containers on Linux, giving an AI a full desktop environment with a browser, terminal, file system, and optional office tools. Users give tasks in plain English, and Bytebot interprets the commands to move the mouse, type, and click through any installed application or web interface.
The agent operates in a sandbox, capturing screenshots before and after each action for audit and debugging purposes. Bytebot supports multiple AI providers—including Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, Google Gemini, and custom LiteLLM proxies—through simple API key configuration.
The platform can handle secure logins with 2FA via integrated password manager extensions and can execute multi‑step workflows that span browsers, editors, terminals, and PDFs. Developers and operations teams can deploy and scale agents locally or in cloud environments, integrating with existing CI/CD pipelines or automation scripts.
