What is Novel?

Novel Novel is a Notion‑style WYSIWYG editor built with Tiptap and the Vercel AI SDK. It provides AI‑powered autocomplete triggered by “++” or a slash menu, a bubble menu for quick formatting, and a slash command interface for inserting tweets and other content.

Users can upload images via drag‑and‑drop, copy‑paste, or the slash menu. The editor supports LaTeX expressions and common mathematical symbols, making it useful for students, researchers, and technical writers. The source code is available on GitHub, and the package can be installed with npm and deployed to Vercel.
