What is Deep Nostalgia?

Deep Nostalgia™ animates faces in family photographs using a deep‑learning engine licensed from D‑ID. Users upload a single image, after which the software applies pre‑trained motion drivers to create a short video of the subject smiling, blinking, or turning their head.

The animation can be applied to both color and black‑and‑white photos, and works automatically on images stored in a MyHeritage account. The resulting video is shareable through social media or email and is deleted automatically if the upload occurs before an account is created, protecting user privacy.
