Open Zoom AI Companion and have it ready before you start

Open the Zoom desktop app and sign in with a paid Zoom account

Go to Settings → AI Companion and enable Meeting Summary, Meeting Questions, and Smart Recording

Start or join a meeting, then click the AI Companion icon to ask real‑time questions like “What are the action items?”

If you arrive late, select “Catch me up” to receive a quick recap of what you missed

When the meeting ends, Zoom automatically creates a summary, highlights, and a list of next steps in the cloud recording

Open the Meeting Summary panel, review the AI‑generated notes, and edit any details if needed

Export the summary to a Google Doc for easy sharing
