Open talkpal and have it ready before you start
Download the TalkPal app from your device’s app store and create a free account or log in to your existing account
Upgrade to TalkPal Premium or start the 14‑day free trial to unlock unlimited conversation time
Select the language you want to practice from the list of 57 supported languages
Tap the ‘Conversation’ mode, then choose a scenario or character (e.g., restaurant ordering, business meeting) to set the context
Press the microphone icon and speak your response in the target language; TalkPal will transcribe your speech and display it on screen
Review the AI tutor’s spoken reply (audio) and read the real‑time grammatical feedback (text) that highlights pronunciation, word choice, and sentence structure errors
Adjust your next utterance based on the feedback and continue the dialogue for at least 5 minutes to build fluency
Open the ‘Progress’ tab to view a summary of corrected errors and track improvement over time
