Open Gemini and have it ready before you start
Open Google Gemini and click the file‑upload button on the left sidebar.
Upload a clear image or PDF of the receipt you want to process.
Enter the prompt: “Extract all transactions from this receipt and list date, item, amount, and category in a table.”
Review the generated table for accuracy and edit any mis‑identified rows directly in the chat.
Click “Export as CSV” (or copy the table) to download the expense‑report file.
Create a Gem named “Expense Tracker” with the same prompt and default file‑upload behavior, then save it for one‑click processing of future receipts.
