Open Fireflies.ai and have it ready before you start

Upload your meeting recording (audio or video) or paste the meeting URL into Fireflies.

Select the appropriate capture mode – let Fred join as a bot or use the desktop/web recorder to create a transcript.

After transcription completes, click “Generate Summary” and enable the “Action Items” option.

Review the AI‑generated bullet‑point summary and the extracted action items with speaker tags and timestamps.

Edit any items if needed, then click “Export” to download the summary as text and the action items as JSON.
