Open ElevenLabs and have it ready before you start
Record high‑quality audio samples of your voice (30 min – 3 hrs) using a pop‑filter, consistent distance, and a quiet, treated space
Log into the ElevenLabs dashboard and navigate to Voices → Add a new voice → Professional Voice Clone
Upload your recorded samples by clicking “Upload samples” or record directly with “Record yourself”
Review the length feedback; ensure at least 1 hour of total audio for optimal cloning
Click the Audio settings button next to each clip and enable noise‑reduction and speaker isolation to clean the recordings
Verify your voice using the same microphone and a similar speaking style as the samples
Wait for the fine‑tuning process to finish; monitor status in My Voices until the clone is marked ready
Open the Playground, select your cloned voice, paste the audiobook text, adjust speed/tone as needed, and click Generate
Download the generated MP3/WAV file and insert it into your audiobook project
